Process
1. Feature Outline + Research
The first step of the project was to outline exactly what functionality was required for the feature along with listing particular competitor app features for analysis and review.
Below are some screenshots of our initial thoughts and research into the project to kick off.
2. App Features
Once we compiled our research, we created a table outlining all the features available in similar apps and decided which features we would want to be included for Bindy Street.
Doing this competitor analysis was very insightful and gave us a lot of insight into how these features work in current products and gave us some ideas we didn't initially think of in our first brainstorming session.
3. User Stories
Once we defined all the individual parts of this feature we wanted to include, we broke each one down into individual user stories and created user flows for each one so we understood how the user journey and flow would work. This also enabled us to know exactly what screens we needed to design for each user story.
4. Wireframes
Once our research and user stories were complete, we then set off to do lo-fi wireframes. These went through many iterations between us designers, and the product manager and also validating if the flows would be achievable with the development team.
Through this process, we separated our user stories into a traffic light system where we had a set that we wanted to be included on the first launch of the feature update and then later features that could come later down the development stage.

Outcome
Once I got our lo-fi wireframes signed off, I then set to work on creating high-fidelity versions of the designs that were in line with Bindy Street's current branding.
Above are a large variety of these high-fi screens which should show the journey that this feature has taken. We all felt this new redesign was a massive improvement both visually and also offers the user many more options on ways to interact with their collections.
